In recent years we are seeing significant upheavals in the world economy.
The economic balance is shifting increasingly towards new markets such as Asia (China, India, etc.), South America (Brazil, Argentina), resulting in a decline of the so-called “old continent” Europe.
Moreover, in recent times we are seeing a steady stream of masses of human beings desperate that are pouring in Europe and especially in Italy who cry out to us all in a loud voice their despair.
This is the daughter of the policies that for many decades have taken on many Western countries that they thought only to be comfortable without them worrying about those living in poverty.
Now that the “nodes have come home to roost” we are paying the consequences and still can not find a solution.
To avoid this should be carried within the United Nations of the agreements with the countries of the so-called “third world” to try to regulate the flow of humans, perhaps by granting aid both in terms of finance and expertise; in cases where there is no possibility of agreements with third countries because of war and persecution, should be checked and if necessary stop at the borders of the countries of North Africa and the Middle East the flow of migrants.
This is an extremely difficult task for all countries, through international organizations should take in order to curb the phenomenon.
But in the short / medium term should be reviewed and even rethink the way the global economy to be set, when looking more possible to achieve greater social justice.
Social justice in the sense of a better redistribution of the world’s wealth, and to finally pay for those (both private individuals that entire national economy) that have more in favor of those (both private individuals that entire national economies) that are less fortunate .
This seems like a utopia and the road is still very difficult but I am convinced that with the commitment of all we can do.
