THE WORLD AT THE CROSSROADS: NEED MORE SOCIAL JUSTICE

In recent years we are seeing significant upheavals in the world economy.
The economic balance is shifting increasingly towards new markets such as Asia (China, India, etc.), South America (Brazil, Argentina), resulting in a decline of the so-called “old continent” Europe.

Moreover, in recent times we are seeing a steady stream of masses of human beings desperate that are pouring in Europe and especially in Italy who cry out to us all in a loud voice their despair.

This is the daughter of the policies that for many decades have taken on many Western countries that they thought only to be comfortable without them worrying about those living in poverty.

Now that the “nodes have come home to roost” we are paying the consequences and still can not find a solution.

To avoid this should be carried within the United Nations of the agreements with the countries of the so-called “third world” to try to regulate the flow of humans, perhaps by granting aid both in terms of finance and expertise; in cases where there is no possibility of agreements with third countries because of war and persecution, should be checked and if necessary stop at the borders of the countries of North Africa and the Middle East the flow of migrants.

This is an extremely difficult task for all countries, through international organizations should take in order to curb the phenomenon.

But in the short / medium term should be reviewed and even rethink the way the global economy to be set, when looking more possible to achieve greater social justice.

Social justice in the sense of a better redistribution of the world’s wealth, and to finally pay for those (both private individuals that entire national economy) that have more in favor of those (both private individuals that entire national economies) that are less fortunate .
This seems like a utopia and the road is still very difficult but I am convinced that with the commitment of all we can do.

IL MONDO AL BIVIO: OCCORRE PIU’ GIUSTIZIA SOCIALE

Negli ultimi anni stiamo assistendo a notevoli stravolgimenti nell’ambito dell’economia mondiale.

EXPO 2015: AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ITALY

Since May 1, 2015 began the adventure of a long wait of Expo 2015 international exhibition.

For several years it is discussed about the possibilities and expectations that would constitute such an event.

This initiative could be a chance for our country to take advantage out of the crisis, because, thanks to the continuous flow that every day you are recording with respect to entrepreneurs and ordinary people from every part of the world is heading towards this great Event show in Milan, is putting into motion an economy with positive effects also on the country’s system.

The opportunity lies in the fact that Milan at this time has become “the center of the world” having all the spotlight on Expo.

Just think already in the preparatory phase of the Expo, which saw mobilize many Italian and foreign also, right now creating a flow of investment towards Milan and creating new jobs.

This event, which ends on October 31 this year will enable various countries of the world to discuss issues concerning food and its environmental sustainability.

Of these issues they are talking more and more, because our planet’s resources are finite, we must find new solutions on how to produce respecting the environment.

Surely, at the end of this adventure you will see the results and will be very positive, both in terms of new opportunities for sustainable food production and is “awakening” of the “sleepy” economy of our country.

GREECE COULD DO IT

In recent years, Greece is in the spotlight by the European Union in terms of their economic policy.

The fact is that Greece has an economy firmly grounded on high public spending, which has produced over the years an inevitable increase in public debt.

Currently, as the European economic system provides for the adoption by member countries of economic policies based on a drastic reduction of the deficit-GDP ratio, which has put serious difficulties in the already fragile economy of Greece.

Greece, for its part, recently, under pressure from the European Union, has seen a remodeling of its public spending, making drastic cuts to pensions is that the public salaries, as well as increasing the tax burden.

All this, however, has been reflected in a drastic reduction in public spending on the one hand and the impoverishment of its population on the other.

To solve this difficult situation that has arisen within the economy greek, should revise and restructure the repayment of public debt, by extension of the same for a few decades and by converting part of the debt in irredeemable.

It should, on the other hand, that the European Union destinies more resources to Greece to allow her to get out of this impasse that has arisen, giving a boost to the entire Greek economy.

Of course this solution is not easy to take, but forcing Greece to comply with the policy of austerity imposed by the European Union, you will only continue to starve the already suffering people of Greece.

We hope that as soon as Greece can return to being a “great country” as history teaches us.
